
Raised on Dja Dja Wurrung country, in a family of artists, musicians, actors, filmmakers & farmers, Isaebella spent her youth homeschooled & travelling the world.
A self-taught filmmaker & photographer, Isaebella has been immersed in visual arts from a very young age, with the guidance of her family & peers.
Inspired by the neologism of sonder, her work centres around connectivity & calm, a deep belief that every one being and their story is important.
Isaebella won the ‘2019 Olive Cotton People’s Choice Award’, the ‘2017 Maggie Diaz Photography Prize for Women’ and has participated as a finalist in many photographic prizes around the country, with her debut feature documentary, ‘Polyfaces’ (2015, co-directed with Lisa Heenan), winning many awards internationally.
Isaebella is co-Director of regenerative agriculture & living non-profit, Regrarians Ltd.
