Rory McLeod grew up in the desert of Central Australia, but is currently based in Victoria, he is a filmmaker & photographer who has a passion for social justice and the environment.
In 2014 he became obsessed with photographing the beauty in nature. He wanted people to appreciate nature because he believed that we are nature.
In 2016 he then studied Film and Television at Swinburne University in Melbourne for 3 years with a strong focus on Cinematography and Directing.
Since then he has worked as a freelance filmmaker on projects across multiple states in Australia such as: short films, music videos, archival and short and long documentary.
He still does photography as he enjoys the physical properties of the printed image, as he believes this is something you can’t offer with video.
